All of Sysco’s prescription drug benefits are administered through Aetna/CVS. Each of the medical plans offer the same prescription drug benefit with one exception: the HSA plan requires you to meet your deductible before the plan pays a portion of your costs.
The prescription drug coverage that is included in your Sysco-sponsored medical plan will be provided by CVS, an Aetna preferred carrier. These are the covered prescription drugs as of January 1, 2024.
If you have any questions about a specific drug for yourself or your dependents, reach out to Aetna’s Healthcare Advocate at 1-888-792-3862.
You can find the Aetna formulary here, which includes the drugs covered under your Sysco-sponsored national medical plan.
The medications on the Aetna Value Drug list are covered under your plan from day one, even if you haven’t met your deductible. They include certain medications, supplements, or products to:

Specialty prescriptions are uncommon but if you need one, you must enroll in PrudentRx. PrudentRx works with manufacturers to get copay assistance for specialty medications. If you are eligible, you will receive a mailing to your home.
Once you enroll, you’ll pay nothing for any medication on the plan’s Exclusive Specialty Drug List. If you don’t enroll for PrudentRx, you’ll be responsible for 30% of the cost of your specialty medication.
Specialty prescriptions must be filled through CVS or by mail order.
The Exclusive Specialty Drug List shows specialty drugs offered at $0 for those enrolled in PrudentRx.
